Timothy built up a successful studio business during the ’80’s. He began to master the art and craft of commercial photography, refining his hallmark skill: talent direction. He gained a reputation for inspiring the best in his subjects. Timothy was soon also teaching aspiring models on invitation at exclusive talent agencies.
In 1989, Timothy moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to become Director of Photography for a large national catalog house. He captured sales-driven images for clients like Playboy, Warner Brothers and Robert Redford’s Sundance.
Timothy has headed his current commercial photography group since the ’90’s. He is known for photography with a natural, big-screen feel, whether shooting the action or setting a scene. He achieves this effect by working with movie lighting crews, as well as professional actors and “real people” for models. His directing style is loose, spontaneous and energetic yet always focused on client objectives. Timothy’s client list spans from high-end house developers to international software corporations to Fortune 500 companies.
Timothy lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife and two sons.
